The proposed amendment of The Law of Evidence (Cap.9) aims to improve the position of credit-acquiring companies and non-credit institutions when proving their case in Court and to ensure that purchasers of credit facilities, who are not banking institutions, are able to continue existing legal proceedings against borrowers without facing any evidence-based hurdles.
