We are looking for a driven and accomplished employment lawyer to join our recently top ranked Employment team, at either our Nicosia or Limassol office.
Main Duties/Responsibilities:
- Handle Employment litigation cases,
- Provide expert legal advice and guidance to clients on all aspects of employment law, including but not limited to unlawful terminations, restructurings, employee benefits, redundancies, industrial relations and other non-litigious matters,
- Draft and review employment agreements, internal policies, handbooks and other legal documents to ensure compliance with relevant national and EU laws and regulations,
- Represent clients in negotiations, mediations related to employment/industrial disputes,
- Participate in the development and delivery of training programs and workshops for clients, focusing on essential topics like anti-discrimination policies, harassment prevention, and labour law compliance amongst others.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Law (LLB)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience following legal qualification, with a strong track record in employment law.
- Member of Cyprus Bar Association
- Strong knowledge of local and EU employment laws and regulations and trends.
- Fluent written and spoken Greek and English
- Proficient using legal software and comfortable working with various applications such us Microsoft suite.
- Team player
- Commitment to providing exceptional client service and building long-lasting relationships.
